You will be picked up just outside of the port gate, where a taxi will drive you to your snorkeling guide.  

You will be given instructions, then outfitted with a mask, snorkel, then its time to enter the boat.  Keep your eyes wide open to the incredible fish, soft and hard corals, turtles, etc. just below the surface in this the amazing underwater world of the Caribbean located on the second largest reef system in the world!  The Meso-American reef.

You’ll snorkel in an average depth of 6’-12’, but some areas may be 20 feet.

One of the great attractions of snorkeling the pristine reefs around Costa Maya is its abundant marine life. Feast your eyes on a variety of tropical fish and other fascinating creatures, as well as the best coral formations on the coast.

Wear your swimsuit and leave the rest to us. We’ll provide everything you need for an awesome snorkeling adventure in the turquoise waters of the Caribbean Sea.

TRANSFER / MEETING INSTRUCTIONS

Show your voucher to the greeter, and he will get you a taxi to the meeting area.  If your booked time is later on in the day, you may enjoy the town or beaches, then meet back at the boat at your scheduled time.Return transportation is not provided, so you may enjoy exploring the town, get a massage, or enjoy great food on the beach! Taxi’s typically cost $3 USD per person back to the port.

 

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS

• Participants should feel comfortable in the water and have basic swimming skills.
• Although there is no restriction on age for this trip, we suggest that if you have little ones, you bring “floatees” along for their arms. The snorkel gear is sized for children ages 4 and over. You may want to purchase a children’s size set prior to your cruise.
• Wear your swimsuit and bring a towel and sunscreen.
• Snorkel equipment, water, and soft drinks are included in the price of this tour.

RESTRICTIONS

• There is a minimum of 3 participants required for this tour.
• The minimum age to enter the water to snorkel is 10 years old. Children ages 5-9 are permitted on the boat, but will not be allowed in the water. Children ages 4 and under are not allowed on the boat.
